October

october

I love a good morning in October.

When all of Nature’s best merges to create glorious, full-bodied moments of primal gratitude.

Warm October breeze, gusts of fierce wind, and the earth breathing, as though synchronized with the rise and fall of the opus playing in my head.

Trees dance grandly in vibrant climax; arms raised like flamenco dancers, proud and fully aware of their own magnificence.

It’s a culmination of a year’s work; taking centre stage for their swan song – and we have a front row ticket to the show.

Tiny yellow leaves burst from boughs like confetti after a monumental performance; reds and browns swirl in excited welcome below.

Roused from numbness, inhaling invigorating October; tasting hints of the change ahead.

I love a good morning in October.
