Chasing Yellow began in 2014 in response to friends urging me to write in an outlet more suitable for a series I was posting on Facebook entitled, 365 days of Gratitude.
After 10 years of being a stay-at-home-mother, with all of my kids now in school full-time, I was struck with the question, “Now what?!” And so, I picked up exactly where I left off before having kids – nurturing an innate desire to share my experiences through writing.
It is exceptionally easy to forget that it is possible to find the beauty in our everyday lives. Too often we are surrounded by people and situations that make us feel unhappy, and unbalanced. And so, I combine my love of writing with my ability to seek the positive, by sharing stories about my life and my family, in the hopes that it inspires you to find gratitude in the everyday of your lives too.
Interspersed in all of this, I’ll be sharing some short stories too,
I live in Hamilton, Ont., with my wonderful husband Jon and three kids, Jayden, Hunter and Jace. I graduated from Journalism-Print at Niagara College and attended Brock University for English Language and Literature. I love time spent with my little family, road trips, Sundays, movies, wine, dinners that I don’t have to cook, and good conversation.

Thank you for sharing this experience with me 🙂
